Notes to all event organisers: * XXX* or ??? The * indicates the bidding for the event is still open. 1 Events not intended for rating purposes will be advertised on the web pages of the Unions ( their own pages or the Chessa page) or Clubs or Institutions that organise the event . ( Note that Unions are responsible for submission and updating of all details to be published on the Chessa website for their Union) 2 Events that are intended to be rated by FIDE must be advertised ( with full details) six months before the start of the event , send also details to SA Rating Bureau. 3 Full details of events that are intended to be rated by SA Rating Bureau must be submitted to (a) the CHESSA Webpage manager (b) The SA Rating Bureau one month before the event is due to start. 4 After 1 Jan 2009 this page will be updated by the Chessa Web manager, on the official website, only. 5 The printing of and the distrbution of the events calendar will be the responsibility of the Union , Club or individual that requires it. 6 Chess SA is not responsible for the accuracy of the information displayed on this page - the event manger/contact person is the only person to confirm details.
